Who are we?
Zion Church is an externally (outreach) focused church with a mission of engaging in the life of the community through ministry and service (Acts of Kindness). Acts of Kindness ministries is an evangelism/outreach vehicle by which we earn the right to be heard in the community through service. Through serving the community we are able to build relationships and share our faith in a non-intimidating fashion.
Why do we exist?
We exist to create an evangelistic culture within our church whereby we equip people with the knowledge and skills to effectively share their faith through relationship evangelism in order to reach the world for Jesus Christ.
What do we do?
We equip the congregation through training with the knowledge and skills to effectively share their faith without frustration or intimidation. We also engage them in serving the community through Acts of Kindness (AOK).
When and Where do we meet?
There is an AOK strategic volunteer planning team that meets monthly for the purpose of discussing and developing outreach serving opportunities.
Fulfilling the great commission:
Matthew 28:19,20
Mark 16:15
